The Shelf is 1-1/4" Tall Birch, Oak, or Paintable. They are made of edge banded Furniture Grade Plywood. Since the special glides for this unit are hidden underneath, they don't show when the Furniture Shelf is pulled out. USE THiS Pull Out Furniture Shelf to make using your printer, DVD, CD Player, or other equipment convenient, while able to push it back in place when not in use. GLIDES: Our special Hidden Glides have been tested through 100,000 open/close cycles , are rated at 100# load (75# dynamic), and have a limited lifetime warrantee. READY FOR FINISHING: Sliding Shelves are Hand Sanded, ready for staining or painting. All woods (Birch, Oak, or Paintable) are attractive with just a clear coat of polyurethane or varnish. Birch stains well in almost any hew. Lighter stains highlight the natural beauty of the variation in color and grain, while darker stains even out the color somewhat. CUSTOM SIZES: The Furniture Sliding Shelf is available in virtually any width, and lengths of 22" or 18". There is no additional charge for cutting the standard length of 22" to 19".
