SPECIFICATIONS: High-Back Sliding Shelves are 22” long front-to-back. Front is 3" tall, Back is 7-1/2" tall) High-Back Oak Sliding Shelves are specially made for tall items. The front is still low enough to see what's on the shelf, and the tall back keeps things from falling over.  Nested pots and pans store well in High-Back Sliding Shelves.

CONSTRUCTION:  Edge-banded 3/4" Furniture Grade Oak Plywood Sides sloping from 3" to 7-1/2" Tall. The shelf floor is 1/4” plywood, dado-captured and glued in place.  Edges of plywood are also Oak veneer so no exposed plywood edges are visible when using the shelf.  The shelf floor is 1/4” plywood, dado-captured and glued in place.  The glides allow your Sliding Shelf to pull out about 16-1/2".  With the Full-Extension option your Sliding Shelf will pull out the full 22".   For a pictoral view of glide options, see our page on Glides. READY FOR FINISHING:  Sliding Shelves are Hand Sanded, ready for staining or painting.  Oak stains well in almost any hew.  Lighter stains highlight the natural beauty of the variation in color and grain, while darker stains even out the color somewhat.  More information on oak is on our Woods Page. 

INSTALLATION:  Sliding Shelves mount to any permanent shelf or the floor of any cabinet. Mounting to the side is an option (Click on custom orders, above).
